Pahiatua School
Close to the Main Street, Pahiatua School is the largest primary school at close to 400 students. Dedicated to developing social and personal behaviours that will give children the skills to become valued citizens of the future.

Ballance School
As the school motto states, these educators are all about planting the seed to grow the child. By nurturing and taking care of the "seed", a child can learn and retain the right skills in life to become a capable and competent adult.
A small, intimate country school, Ballance has been delivering primary education to year 0-8 students for over 125 years.

Tararua College Pahiatua
Situated in Pahiatua township, Tararua College is a secondary school with over 400 students. Educators enhance learning through dynamic and responsive teaching programmes as they promote personal development and leadership.
Year 9-13 students have access to a wide range of studies including a vocational pathways programme. The School also has it's own farm where students study primary industries.

Mangatainoka School
Mangatainoka School is a full primary school located a short distance from Pahiatua and Woodville. It caters for students in Years 1 to 8. The school has over 80 students. The school was opened in 1889 and features a striking native mural designed by a local artist.

St. Anthony’s School is a state integrated Catholic school in the semi rural township of Pahiatua. It provides education for students from Years 1 to 8.
