Red Chillies
Looking for a great night dining out or a delicious night dining in (they do great takeaways too), look no further than Red Chillies. Situated in the centre of town, Red Chillies is an Indian/Nepalese family restaurant offering amazing food and outstanding service.

Post Office Hotel
Part hotel, part sports bar and part restaurant, Post Office Hotel rests on the south side of town and offers good, country-sized meals for both lunch and dinner.

There's a large parking area out front and if you're into sports, most games are broadcast live. On special occasions, they have quiz nights, live entertainment, and more. If it's a quiet dining you're after, they've got you covered. A separate, quiet dining room is available for families and events.

Joy Sushi
Looking for delicious rolls, nigiri, tempura, ramen, miso or other Japanese/Korean delicacies, then visit 56 Main Street and pop into Joy Sushi, one of our newest restaurants in town.

The owners are lovely, they offer wonderful, healthy options, and you enjoy your meal in the small dine in area or take it away. Vegetarian and vegan choices are available.

DROP INTO TUI BREWERY

Five minutes north of town, Tui Brewery offers museum tours, guided walks through the brewing process, and best of all - FOOD!

There's a large, two-storey indoor dining area, tastefully decorated with Kiwiana advertisements and historic Tui memorabilia. An outdoor area can also be enjoyed on those sunny Tararua days.

Since 1889, founder Henry Wagstaff's brews have been sourced from the neighbouring Mangatainoka River. The classic Tui East India Pale Ale can be enjoyed direct from the source alongside several unique beers only available at Tui HQ. After your meal, take a walk by the riverside!
